Shipping and Returns

Costs:

Flat Rate UK Mainland: £4.99 - in the run up to Christmas, parcels will be dispatched within 2 working days of receiving your order using a 2 - 4 working day courier delivery service.

Priority Shipping: £7.50 - your parcel will be dispatched the next working day, using a 1 - 2 working day courier delivery service. 

Free shipping on orders of £35 - please make sure you choose this option at checkout.  Please note, if you use a discount code this may bring your order total back below £35 and postage will be payable.

Flat Rate shipping to Highlands and Islands is set to £20 as this is the amount I have paid in the past to courier a parcel, BUT please get in touch before you purchase any toys and I will be able to give you an accurate postage charge based on your post code and the weight of the toys you'd like.

I no longer ship parcels to Northern Ireland because of the extra costs (eg VAT/duty) that may need to be paid by my customers, at the time of delivery.

All prices shown are inclusive of any relevant taxes.

Delivery Schedule:

For standard and free delivery, I use a 2 - 4 working day delivery courier.  If your parcel does not arrive, please check to see if someone has taken it into your house without mentioning it to you, then get in touch with me straight away so that I can initiate an investigation with the courier.

In cases beyond my control, eg at Christmas, please allow up to 14 working days for deliery.

I am unable to re-send packages that are returned to me as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase those products, you're welcome to place a new order. Your payment will be refunded less the costs incurred posting and packaging your parcel. A package may be 'undeliverable' because the address provided was incorrect or, following 3 failed delivery attempts, it has not been collected from the local collection office and has subsequently been returned to sender. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Delivery Methods:

For most items I usually use a courier service and will provide a tracking number on request.  The courier will send you an email with information about your delivery date.

Free local pick up from Framwellgate Moor (DH1 5EP).  On choosing this option at checkout, please ring to make an appointment to collect your toys.    Handover of toys will be contactless.

Returns

Customers must inform Jack and Jill’s Wooden Toys within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel their order.  Customers have 14 days from the date of contacting Jack and Jill’s to return their goods. Although not essential to give a reason, I would appreciate your letting me know why you need to return the item.

A refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the good back into stock, on the condition that they have not been opened, or played with, and are still in their original package. 

On receiving your goods, any faults must be reported to Jack and Jill’s Wooden Toys straight away.  I cannot accept the return of good that you have tried to repair yourself.
